1.The service
Fintutor is a platform that lets finance educators ("tutors") build branded academies and sell courses, memberships, live classes and coaching to their students. We provide the software; tutors are responsible for their own content and student relationships.
2.Accounts & eligibility
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3.Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform — no unlawful, fraudulent, infringing or abusive activity, no attempts to break security or scrape data, and no content that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
4.Tutor content & responsibilities
Tutors retain ownership of the content they upload and grant us a limited licence to host and deliver it. Tutors are solely responsible for their content, claims, pricing, taxes, refunds and compliance with financial-education and advertising regulations.
5.Payments & subscriptions
Tutors pay us a subscription for their plan. Student payments for courses and memberships are collected by the tutor directly through their own payment gateway — we are not a party to those transactions and charge 0% platform fee on paid plans.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
6.Intellectual property
The Fintutor platform, software and brand are owned by Proteanminds. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service; they do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.
7.Disclaimers
The platform is provided “as is”. Content on academies is educational and is not financial, investment or legal advice. We do not endorse or guarantee any tutor's content or outcomes.
8.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the preceding three months.
9.Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the law, with notice where reasonable.
